VITEEE Preparation 2021 – Important Dates

The admission process of VITEEE 2021 has a series of events involved from the application process to the final counseling round. The tentative dates for VITEEE Preparation 2021 are provided in the table below which will be further updated as per official notice from the university. The examination is to e conducted in three shifts on the date of examination.

The first session is to begin from 9 am to 11:30 am following the second session 12:30 pm to 3 pm and the final session is to begin from 4 pm to 6:30 pm. VITEEE Preparation 2021 – Eligibility

An eligibility requirement is issued by VIT for students willing to apply for the entrance examination. It must be noted hat every candidate who is applying for the examination must be eligible for the same. The basic eligibility criteria provided by the institute is listed below for candidates to go through and apply accordingly.

• Nationality – The candidates should be Resident/Non-Resident Indian National. PIO and OCI holders will also be eligible for the VITEEE 2021. However foreign nationals can apply through the foreign category only.
• Age Limit – Candidates born on or after July 1, 1999, are eligible for VITEEE 2021.
• Qualifying Examination – Candidates should have passed or should be appearing in the year 2021 in any of the following examinations:
  • 10+2 of Higher Secondary Exam conducted by the State Board; Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE).
  • Intermediate or Two year Pre-University Exam conducted by a recognized Board/University. 
  • High School Certificate Exam of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva. 
  • General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level. 
  • NIOS candidates will also be eligible for VITEEE 2021.
  • JEE Main / SAT Score Card (If applicable)
• VITEEE 2021 Qualifying Marks – Candidates should have secured at least an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying exam (50% for reserved categories of SC and ST/ Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North-Eastern states).

VITEEE Preparation 2021 – Application Process

The eligible candidates can choose to apply for the VITEEE 2021 through online by visiting the official website that is vit.ac.in. To apply for the VITEEE 2021 candidate first need to register with the institute and only after the successful registration can a candidate apply for the examination. On the successful commencement of the examination, the institution declares the result online on the official website of VIT. VITEEE Preparation 2021 – Cutoff

The cutoff for an examination is the closing rank at which candidate are taken and granted various courses available at the institute. In a simpler way the cutoff is the minimum marks required by a candidate to qualify the examination. VIT officially publishes the closing rank for each of the courses available at the institute o its official website. Candidates as per the rank obtained are to consider the closing rank as cutoff which will be released stream and campus wise by the institute.

VITEEE Preparation 2021 – Counselling

The VIT University conducts an offline counseling process at its campus for the final round of admission and seat allocation to candidates. There will be a total of two rounds of counseling conducted by the institute which involves a series of events and processes to be followed by every candidate with a qualifying rank. The steps or process to participate in VITEEE Preparation 2021 counseling is listed below:

1. Qualified candidates eligible for the counseling round will be sent an intimation through an E-mail or SMS.
2. The candidate needs to register and attend the counseling in-person for admission to VIT.
3.  To attend the process a DD of INR 50,000, which includes a counseling fee of INR 10,000 at the counseling center. Note that the counseling fee is non-refundable.
4. Candidates are also required to get all their original documents verified by the university professionals at the time of seat allocation.
5. Finally, fill in the choice of your courses and campus.
6. Allotment will be done on the basis of the VITEEE rank, availability of seats, and on the basis of the branch preference. Also, a seat once allotted will not be changed later under any circumstances.
